English Stammtisch Nuremberg | Cobra Club

Cobra Club – one of the more unusual bars in town, will be the next venue for our English Stammtisch Nuremberg.
Beside the main bar space, this unique location has several side rooms, their walls painted with murals.
The place has a backstory too. On opening, way back in 1977, it was called “Starclub” but in a rights issue with a record company was compelled to change its name. It reopened in 2016 as “Cobra Club”. Now, where it got that name we’ll leave for another day!
Join us for our English Stammtisch, a regular gathering where language enthusiasts and community members come together to connect and converse. Our Stammtisch events take place on the 2nd Thursday and the last Thursday of every month. We invite both locals and internationals to join us in fostering a welcoming environment for cultural exchange in English.
English Stammtisch Nuremberg is an opportunity for like-minded people from all walks of life to come together on a regular basis and socialise, a voluntary effort to support Nuremberg’s expat community. While English is the common language, we have a wide range of nationalities in attendance.

Q: How much is it? A: The English Stammtisch Nuremberg is and always will be free for everyone to attend.
Q: Who can attend? A: The English Stammtisch Nuremberg is open to everyone; both international people and locals! We welcome all ages, genders, nationalities etc. You can attend regularly, or just occasionally. We’re always happy to see you!
Q: Can I come alone? A: Yes! Some people are regulars and already know each other, and many people come for the first time and leave with new friends!
𝙌: Can I arrive later than 7:30 pm? 𝘼: Yes, of course! You can arrive and leave at any time you like. You are always very welcome to join us whenever it suits you.
𝙌: How can I find the group? 𝘼: Look for our Global Locals flag, and we’re sure you’ll spot the large group of people speaking English and wearing English Stammtisch name stickers.
