Global Locals Cycling | Birkensee

Join Global Locals on Saturday, May 25, for a cycling trip to Birkensee, led by our cycling enthusiast Dominik. Experience the thrill of outdoor adventure as we explore scenic landscapes and enjoy the beauty of nature.

🕚 Meet at 12:30pm
📍 Starting in Nuremberg (exact location details will be sent via email a few days before)
🏝️ Feel free to also join us directly at Birkensee 

We’ll kick off our adventure in the morning with a 15km bike ride, which should take us about an hour. We’ll then chill out at Birkensee for at least an hour, depending on how the group feels. Then, after soaking up the sun (fingers crossed for good weather!) and the scenery, we’ll pedal back the same 15km route in the late afternoon, another hour of cycling to be back in Nuremberg around 6pm at the latest. 

What to Bring:

• Something to sit on at the lake
• Swimwear if you fancy a dip
• Some snacks/food (either for yourself or to share)
• Water or preferred drinks; it will be a hot ride

Requirements:

• A reasonable level of fitness
• A fully working bike
• Spare tubes compatible with your bicycle/tyres (in case of a puncture)
• A mandatory helmet for safety (we strongly recommend it too!)
