About Saehee
Saehee, a passionate cook, embarked on a culinary journey in Germany as a Korean American. Utilising her background as a cooking instructor, she channelled her love for Korean cuisine into a powerful means of connection. Her commitment to fostering cultural exchange through food was exemplified by hosting a Korean cooking class and dinner that brought together locals and refugees, transcending language barriers with the universal language of flavours. Saehee continued to teach cooking classes, promoting cultural exchange, and revived her Kimchi food business, introducing this iconic Korean dish to her new community. Through her culinary expertise, she embraced her Korean heritage and became a cultural ambassador, using food as the bridge to connect with her new home in Germany. Find out more about her experience here.
