SUMMARY:Global Locals e.V. Extraordinary General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:All Global Locals e.V. members are invited to attend an Extraordinary General Meeting. This will take place at the Weinerei\, Königstraße 33-37\, 90402 Nuremberg\, on Monday\, December 9\, 2024\, from 8 pm.  \nMembers’ presence and participation in the future direction of Global Locals e.V. will be much appreciated. \nFollowing Melissa and Alice’s recent resignation from the Board of Directors of Global Locals e.V.\, members are probably wondering what is going on. At this meeting\, there will be ample opportunity to answer your questions. \nIn light of this development the primary purpose of this meeting is now to inform members about the present situation and importantly in seeking people willing to join the Board of Directors of Global Locals e.V.\, these roles include those of Treasurer\, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary. If anyone is interested in filling any of these roles please send an email to chris@globallocals.de \nBesides this it will also be an ideal opportunity discuss the future organisation of Global Locals e.V. taking in to consideration our experience gained so far\, as well as taking feedback from the membership. \nIt seems now appropriate to postpone changes to the Articles of Association until a new Board of Directors is in place. \n  \nThe agenda is as follows: \n\n\nWelcome and introduction \n\n\nExplanation of how income and membership fees are being used. \n\n\nProposal for changes to the Articles of the Association \n\n\na. Increase the possible number of Board members from 3 to 9 to be made up of 3 core members and 6 advisory members \nb. Regulations on how board members may be elected \nc. Expenditure/organisation of Association funds should be a unanimous decision by all core members of the Board \n\n\nFeedback and proposals from members for the future direction of Global Locals \n\n\nVote (by the Board members) \n\n\nPlease submit any additional points you would like to have added to the agenda at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting to chris@globallocals.de.

We look forward to seeing you there. \nQ: How much is it?\nA: The English Stammtisch Nuremberg is\, and always will be\, free for everyone to attend. \nQ: Do I need to register?\nA: No need to register\, just bring yourself and your friends too if you want. \nQ: Who can attend?\nA: The English Stammtisch Nuremberg is open to everyone; both international people and locals! We welcome all ages\, genders\, nationalities etc. You can attend regularly\, or just occasionally. We’re always happy to see you! \nQ: Can I come alone?\nA: Yes! Some people are regulars and already know each other\, and many people come for the first time and leave with new friends! \nQ: Can I arrive late?\nA: Yes\, of course!
