Join Global Locals for a hands-on foraging walk designed to take the guesswork out of wild mushrooms. \n​Led by a certified German mushroom expert (Pilzberater der Bayerischen Mykologischen Gesellschaft – BMG) this beginner-friendly tour will be conducted in English. You will learn the fundamentals of safe mushroom identification\, how to spot popular edible varieties in the Nuremberg region\, and how to reliably distinguish them from their toxic lookalikes. The tour will be approximately 3 hours duration. \n​Event Details \n\n​Location: A forest near Nuremberg (we’ll travel there by train)\n​Meeting Point: Nuremberg Main Station (Nürnberg Hbf)\, more details upon registration\n​Language: English\n​Experience Level: Beginner-friendly; no prior knowledge required\n​Group Size: Strictly limited to 14 participants for a personalized experience\n\n​Nature & Weather Note \nPlease keep in mind that the variety and abundance of mushrooms depend entirely on weather conditions in the weeks leading up to the event.
