SUMMARY:Hiking in August
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for an easy\, hill-free 12 km hike around the beautiful Rothsee lake\, just south of Nuremberg. Starting at the Eckersmühlen train station\, we’ll stroll through idyllic scenery for about 4 km before reaching the water’s edge. \nOnce there\, we’ll take some time to relax or get active! The route offers optional extras like stand-up paddling or crazy golf\, which can be purchased on the day or simply find a spot to enjoy the view. We’ll then continue our journey along the lakeshore\, where we can stop for refreshments before heading to the Altenfelden railway station to catch a train back to Nuremberg.

We’ll meet at Nuremberg Main Station’s East Hall (McDonald’s\, ground floor) between 9.15 and 9.30 am\, before taking the S2 train departing 9.43 am. Or\, drive directly to Happurg Station and meet us there at 10:20 AM. We’ll explore breathtaking lake views\, admire unique rock formations\, and relax at a lakeside café in the afternoon. Return to Nuremberg in the late afternoon. We’ll return to Nuremberg in the late afternoon\, filled with fresh air and great memories. Interested in joining Global Locals?
