One of the primary goals of Globals & Locals is to be inclusive and welcoming. It is therefore important that all our members agree to these objectives and that the structures of the association promote these goals. We take our Code of Conduct seriously, and we expect the same of our members.

This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all those who participate in our community, what is deemed unacceptable behaviour, as well as the consequences for such behaviour. We invite all those who participate in our community to help us create safe and positive experiences for everyone. We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, citizenship, religious or spiritual beliefs, ability, and socioeconomic status.

  • Be considerate and respectful towards others, their person, lifestyle, and views.
  • Do not use insulting or derogatory language with intent to insult, demean, or otherwise cause injury to other members of the community. Any kind of discriminatory behaviour, harassment or victimisation will not be tolerated.
  • Community event venues may be shared with members of the public; please be respectful to all patrons of these locations.
  • Be aware that as a member of Globals and Locals, you and your actions can be seen to represent the group as a whole.
  • Do not engage in inappropriate or unacceptable behaviour (detailed in the section below)

If a member has a question or feels that a fellow member or the association as a whole is not meeting our commitments, we want to hear from you – do not stay silent. Contact our Ethics and Compliance department at info@globallocals.de
If you consider our Code of Conduct to be insufficient or inappropriate we will be pleased to hear from you.
