Hiking in Franconian Switzerland

Join us for an exhilarating 13km hike discovering the wonders of Franconian Switzerland! Prepare to be captivated by narrow, winding trails leading us through fascinating rock formations. The route features iconic landmarks such as the “Rock Gate,” the intriguing “Stone Town” with its distinctive “Two Brothers” pillars, and a series of captivating caves including the Mystery Grotto, the impressive Distler Grotto, the spacious Maximilian Grotto, and the hidden gems on the Weissingkuppe.

Classified as “intermediate” in difficulty, this hike requires a reasonable level of fitness. However, its diverse terrain and moderate pace make it enjoyable for hikers of all skill levels.

We will meet between 9.15am and 9.30am at Nuremberg Main Station, those who wish to travel by car can meet us off the train at Neuhaus (Pegnitz) shortly after 10am.
