Hiking in August

Get ready for an easy, hill-free 12 km hike around the beautiful Rothsee lake, just south of Nuremberg. Starting at the Eckersmühlen train station, we’ll stroll through idyllic scenery for about 4 km before reaching the water’s edge.

Once there, we’ll take some time to relax or get active! The route offers optional extras like stand-up paddling or crazy golf, which can be purchased on the day or simply find a spot to enjoy the view. We’ll then continue our journey along the lakeshore, where we can stop for refreshments before heading to the Altenfelden railway station to catch a train back to Nuremberg.
