The film, unfiltered and wildly entertaining, is a powerful narrative breaking the walls of their profession.
Produced by Lena Waithe, Kokomo City received critical acclaim and won multiple awards, including the Sundance Film Festival’s NEXT Innovator Award, NEXT Audience Award, and the Berlinale’s Audience Award in the Panorama Documentary section.
