Hi, I’m Chris Andrews. Originally from Yorkshire, I’ve been living in Germany for more than 25 years now, though I’ve never lost the desire to chat in my native tongue.
That desire to speak English and explore our region with like-minded people led me to become a founding member of Global Locals, where I currently serve on the Board. I am also the Editor of the English Post Nuremberg. By day, I work in Graphic Design, bringing a creative eye to everything I do—from organizing community events to publishing local stories.

Hi, I’m Roland. I’m one of the “Locals” here, originally coming from Ansbach, but lived in Nuremberg for 8 years.
I know how important it is to find people you can connect to, not only for our international community, but also for locals and people from other regions of Germany.
I currently serve on the Board of Global Locals, where one of my focus areas is organizing events like our English Stammtisch in Nuremberg.

Hi, I’m Nadine. I’m originally from Palestine, but I was born and raised in Dubai, and I moved to Germany with my family in 2021. I know how challenging it can be to meet new people and build meaningful connections, especially in a new country. Exploring new places and activities has always been something I enjoy most when shared with a group. I currently serve on the Board of Global Locals, where my focus areas include organizing yoga events and managing our social media.

Hi, I’m Ignas, originally from Lithuania. After years of traveling, I’ve been calling Nuremberg home for the past four years. I serve on the Board of Global Locals, focusing on the technical side of things. I’m passionate about helping build a diverse international community here in Nuremberg.
